Hi everyone, I’m Kate Zheng and I’m 20 years old. I’m originally from China but I have been living in Auckland and Christchurch for 5 years now. While in Christchurch I have studied high school for four years. Now I have been living in Auckland for a year studied bachelor of early childhood education at the University of Auckland. I absolutely love working with and spending time with children. I also know how important a reliable, trustworthy and compassionate sitter to parents. Throughout my lifetime, I have a lot of experiments working with children through a university practicum placement. I have been to a few kindergartens to work with the children on the ground. I also have done a holiday program volunteering at the YMCA, working as a teacher looking after the children from 8-16 years old.I have done art and played piano for 6 years for many years during my school life.

I can provide more than just supervision, and use an interactive approach to childcare with activities like outdoor activities, crafts, music, and swimming. I have a brother who is 13 years old with me alone oversea, I had to look after my brother during us in new Zealand, our parents in china. I have the ability to looking after the children both physical and mental. I enjoy seeing kids learn, develop and have fun at the same time. I can speak Chinese and English if the children would like to learn Chinese or love eat Chinese food, I can provide the best optional for them. I have my first aid certificate to make sure your children also in a safe position and am happy to help with housework. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
