I booked The Luxury Fairy and our children were unsettled; therefore, the cleaning was not completed. Do I get a refund?"We highly recommend parents read through the Deluxe and Luxury packages and pick the one best suited to your individual family needs. For a family whose children will be awake when the Fairy arrives, or are unsettled little sleepers, we recommend The Deluxe Fairy. This is because the chances of the Deluxe Fairy duties being completed are high. For a family whose children will be asleep when the Fairy arrives and are deep little sleepers who are able to sleep through the night, we recommend The Luxury Fairy. This is because the chances of the Luxury cleaning being completed is high.

What happens if my child/ren stay awake for the whole Date Night booking?Children will always come first! We cannot stress this enough. If your child/ren are upset, and not going sleep (we all know how unpredictable kids can be with new faces around) or you made a booking for a time when your children are in play-time mode, the chances are that the cleaning will not be completed. Your children’s happiness, wellbeing and safety are the most important part of a Fairies’ Job.

Do I need to pay any additional fees? GST, Booking fees, services fees etc. "Our packages are all inclusive of GST and our service fee – Hassle free around here! The package covers up to 3 children. If our Fairies are caring for more than 3 children, an extra charge of $4 per child, per hour charge will incur.

How do I book a fairy?You can book a fairy through our app ‘Date Night Fairies’ available on both google play and the app store. You simply just choose your package, put through your details and pick a fairy! Don’t worry payment won’t be deducted until your job has been accepted and confirmed.

I booked The Deluxe Fairy, and either the dishes, washing or general tidy up was not completed. Do I get a refund?"Our fairies are expected to complete your dishes, washing and a general tidy up for each Date Night booking, prior to you returning home. The only reasons these duties will not appear to be completed is if your children are awake and have un-done the general tidy up (lets be honest, kids find it a great game to undo your tidying up at the best of times!), or if you have a large volume of washing that needs to be tended to, that cannot be completed due to your children returning the Fairies attention.

This is my first time booking a babysitter, I am quite nervous. How do I know which sitter will best suit my family? "Booking a babysitter for the first time can be a very nerve-wrecking experience & we completely understand! This is why we searched for the best Fairies around New Zealand. All our fairies are carefully selected, highly experienced, reference checked, first aid trained and hold a clear police record. Under the ‘Our Fairies’ tab, we have a small detailed profile of our fairies in different locations. Prior to sending a booking through, please feel free to have a browse and select a Fairy that you believe is best suited for your family.

Can I book a Fairy for less than 3 hours?Our minimum booking period is 3 hours. You are able to come home sooner, but you will still be charged for the hours booked. No refunds will be given if you cut the date night short and come home earlier than booked – Treat yourself to a desert or a movie! Enjoy your time out.
There are no refunds given – Our company relies on parents acknowledging which package is best suited to their children’s needs.
⦁ For both packages, there are a few ‘additional extras’ that Fairies can start working on if there is extra time left during the booking. This does not mean our Fairies will start doing a Luxury clean if you have booked an Deluxe package, but it does mean they will keep busy doing helpful, appreciated cleaning in your home.
